This data is not backed up to any server. Uninstalling the app removes it permanently.
The Gist app fetches news cards from our backend (hosted on Supabase). These requests include your device's IP address as part of normal internet traffic. We do not log or store IP addresses.
Gist displays advertisements served by Google AdMob. AdMob may collect and use data to show you relevant ads, including:
This data is collected and processed by Google under their own privacy policy: policies.google.com/privacy.
You can opt out of personalised ads at any time in your device settings under Google → Ads → Delete advertising ID.
The app is built with Expo (by EAS). Expo may collect anonymised crash and error reports to help us identify and fix bugs. These reports do not contain personally identifiable information.
Gist is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
If we make material changes to this policy we will update the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the app after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
